Make Something New
As I work to refinish a door, sanding or staining or applying protective coats, I have time to think and reflect. Sometimes I listen to talk radio, other times to music, but sometimes I just think. The other day I wondered what would happen if every day I thought of a different something I could make. I'm pretty handy with wood (which is why I love refinishing doors so much)- so what if I designed chicken coops? Or tiny houses? Or Cat Porches? You never know what crazy and wonderful things you might come up with if you put your mind to it.
